General Business Advice Robin Heslop Consultant Civil Litigation After graduating from the London School of Economics, Robin Heslop started his practical training under Hugh Skemp (one of the three original partners in the firm). He qualified in 1969 and was made an equity partner in the firm two years later. He is now the Head of Civil Litigation, and Senior Partner of the Practice. Robin Heslop has specialised in Civil Litigation for most of his career. That specialism covers a wide range including Commercial disputes, Personal Injury and Professional Negligence, Construction, Intellectual Property, and Contentious Probate. He considers it an essential part of his work to advise private and business clients on potentially contentious issues and problems - with a view to resolving them well before litigation threatens. Robin is pro-active and forward-looking in his management of the Practice - which has doubled in size since his appointment as Senior Partner in 2001. He wishes to see further growth in the years ahead and he is committed to ensuring that Moseleys continues to offer a quality legal service at reasonable cost to existing and new clients of the Practice. Martin Cox Senior and Managing Partner Head of Conveyancing Department Martin qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and has practised in Lichfield for the past 33 years. He joined the firm following a successful merger in 2001. Martin specialises in residential conveyancing and general property matters and is the head of the commercial and residential conveyancing department. Martin also handles the sales of small businesses and associated legal matters relating to commercial transactions. Martin is ably assisted by a team of highly qualified and experienced lawyers whose experience covers both domestic and commercial property matters. Martin aims to provide an efficient, professional and friendly service to guide clients through what can often be a stressful time in their lives. The law relating to property is undergoing tremendous and exciting changes and Martin feels that the combination of his experience and access to the latest technology available in the firm provide a personal and reassuring guide to his clients throughout the process of moving home. Martin was appointed Senior and Managing Partner of the Practice on 1st May 2010. He will continue the Firm's policy of steady growth, and has a commitment to ensuring that Moseleys continues to offer a quality legal service at reasonable cost to existing and new clients of the Practice. |
