Martin Cox
Senior and Managing Partner
Head of Conveyancing Department

Martin qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and has practised in Lichfield for the past 33 years. He joined the firm following a successful merger in 2001.

Martin specialises in residential conveyancing and general property matters and is the head of the commercial and residential conveyancing department. Martin also handles the sales of small businesses and associated legal matters relating to commercial transactions.

Martin is ably assisted by a team of highly qualified and experienced lawyers whose experience covers both domestic and commercial property matters.

Martin aims to provide an efficient, professional and friendly service to guide clients through what can often be a stressful time in their lives. The law relating to property is undergoing tremendous and exciting changes and Martin feels that the combination of his experience and access to the latest technology available in the firm provide a personal and reassuring guide to his clients throughout the process of moving home.

Martin was appointed Senior and Managing Partner of the Practice on 1st May 2010. He will continue the Firm's policy of steady growth, and has a commitment to ensuring that Moseleys continues to offer a quality legal service at reasonable cost to existing and new clients of the Practice.


Audrey Hunter
Commercial Property

Audrey qualified as a solicitor in 1984 after graduating from Exeter University. Since then her experience has mainly been in property matters. She joined Moseleys in September 2002 to take over the commercial property department and was made a partner in May 2004.

Audrey specialises in the grant, renewal and assignment of leases for both Landlords and Tenants, rent reviews, sales and purchases of commercial property, option agreements and small business sales.

The documentation involved in commercial property transactions is often complex and can seem daunting to clients. Audrey uses her 20 years experience to clearly explain the issues involved and advise on the options available in a straight forward manner.


Alan Cole
Conveyancing Department

Alan is a graduate of the Universities of Nottingham and London and qualified as a Solicitor in March 1990.

After his initial training in the areas of Company and Commercial Law Alan developed a specialism in Residential Conveyancing covering all aspects of freehold and leasehold property work including remortgages and transfers of equity.

Alan has worked in the Lichfield area for 12 years and joined Moseleys in October 2010.

Property transactions take place in a wide variety of circumstances and can be daunting for those who are not familiar with the processes involved. Alan places great importance on explaining the intricacies to Clients in a clear and supportive way.


Victoria Ellis
Head of Wills and Probate Department

Victoria graduated from Staffordshire University in 1998. She did her Training Contract in Burton Upon Trent and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2001. After 2 years in practice in the Staffordshire area she arrived at Moseleys in March 2003 to run the Probate Department. Victoria was made a partner in May 2004. Victoria specialises in Wills, Probate, Conveyancing, Trusts Estate Planning and Elderly Client work. She is able to refer contentious issues to Robin Heslop.


Paula Bladon
Conveyancing Department

VPaula joined Moseleys in 2018 having worked for other local law firms since 1989. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1999 and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2006.

She is very experienced in dealing with all types of property matters including buying and selling properties; rectification and reconstruction of titles; lease extensions; purchasing the freehold interest in your property when you already own the leasehold; and dealing with shared ownership properties (where you own a property with a Housing Association or similar.)

Paula is very approachable and deals with all matters in a friendly and efficient manner.
