Land & Property Martin Cox Partner Head of Conveyancing Department Martin qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and has practised in Lichfield for the past 27 years. He joined the firm following a successful merger in 2001. Martin specialises in residential conveyancing and general property matters and is the head of the commercial and residential conveyancing department. Martin also handles the sales of small businesses and associated legal matters relating to commercial transactions. Martin is ably assisted by a team of highly qualified and experienced lawyers whose experience covers both domestic and commercial property matters. Martin aims to provide an efficient, professional and friendly service to guide clients through what can often be a stressful time in their lives. The law relating to property is undergoing tremendous and exciting changes and Martin feels that the combination of his experience and access to the latest technology available in the firm provide a personal and reassuring guide to his clients throughout the process of moving home. Terry Moore Partner Conveyancing Department Terry qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 and has practised in Lichfield for the past 10 years before joining Moseleys as a Partner in 2001. He deals mainly in conveyancing transactions and matters to do with land and property and aims to provide a friendly and efficient service. Terry also handles the sales of small businesses and associated legal matters relating to commercial transactions. Moving house has a reputation for being drawn out and traumatic but this need not be the case and Terry tries to guide matters through as quickly and painlessly as possible-communication being the fundamental key. Terry is ably assisted by his secretaries all ready and available to deal with any problems. Audrey Hunter Partner Commercial Property Audrey qualified as a solicitor in 1984 after graduating from Exeter University. Since then her experience has mainly been in property matters. She joined Moseleys in September 2002 to take over the commercial property department and was made a partner in May 2004. Audrey specialises in the grant, renewal and assignment of leases for both Landlords and Tenants, rent reviews, sales and purchases of commercial property, option agreements and small business sales. The documentation involved in commercial property transactions is often complex and can seem daunting to clients. Audrey uses her 20 years experience to clearly explain the issues involved and advise on the options available in a straight forward manner. Pat McInnis F.Inst.L.Ex Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives Conveyancing Department Pat first came to Moseleys in August 1968 as Office Junior. After 6 months she became a secretary and continued to work for the firm until 1980 when she left to have her second baby. Having decided to return to work sometime later she then qualified as a Legal Executive. She obtained a distinction in Conveyancing and Land Law in the examination of The Institute of Legal Executives and later was awarded the top mark in the country when she took the Conveyancing Law and Practice Paper in the Licensed Conveyancer exams. Pat returned to work for Moseleys in 1988 and deals mainly with residential conveyancing and matrimonial transfers. She is well known for her down to earth and friendly approach to clients. David Williams Solicitor - Conveyancing Department After graduating from the University of Wolverhampton in 1991, David served as an Articled Clerk with solicitors in Carlisle. Once qualified in 1995 he returned to the Midlands and has practised with firms in Worcester and Stoke on Trent. He joined Moseleys in April 2006 to enhance the expertise in the Residential Conveyancing Department. David believes the key to an efficient and smooth transaction is effective communication between solicitor, client and third parties. He is always happy to answer any queries, either in person, by telephone or email, to ensure that any worries you may have can be dealt with as quickly as possible. David prefers to meet clients at the outset as often such a meeting can provide information to resolve problems which can arise during the progress of the conveyancing transaction. |
