Head of Wills and Probate Department
Victoria graduated from Staffordshire University in 1998. She did her Training Contract in Burton Upon Trent and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2001. After 2 years in practice in the Staffordshire area she arrived at Moseleys in March 2003 to run the Probate Department. Victoria was made a partner in May 2004. Victoria specialises in Wills, Probate, Conveyancing, Trusts Estate Planning and Elderly Client work. She is able to refer contentious issues to Robin Heslop.
Sarah joined Moseleys in1996 and became a Partner of the Firm in 2000. She has worked in the Civil Litigation department; Wills and Probate department; and, for the last ten years, in the Family Law Department.
Her breadth of experience across the Firm and many years of being part of the "Moseleys team" have put her in a good position to assist Martin Cox (Senior Partner) with the general management and day to day running of the Firm.
Whilst no longer assisting clients directly with family law matters, Sarah is always available to assist any member of the Family Law Department with any complex, or difficult issues that may arise.
In addition Sarah also prepares wills for family law department clients and assists Vicki Ellis in the Wills and Probate Department.
After graduating from the London School of Economics, Robin started his practical training under Hugh Skemp (one of the three original partners in the firm). He qualified in 1969 and was made an equity partner in the firm two years later. He was the Head of Civil Litigation and Senior Partner of the practice until 2010.
Robin specialised in Civil Litigation for most of his career. That specialism covered a wide range of work, including Commercial disputes, Professional Negligence and Contentious Probate.
He considers it still to be an essential part of his work to advise both private individuals and business clients on potentially contentious issues and problems with a view to resolving them well before litigation threatens. Also because of his knowledge of the problems that can arise when Wills are not properly prepared, he now regularly acts for clients in making their Wills, and also in completing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Robin was Senior and Managing Partner of the firm from 2001 to 2010. He remains with the firm as a Consultant, retaining his links with existing clients and welcoming new ones.
