You and your spouse may or may not be aware of the wishes of the other, and so those wishes need to be communicated between you, once you have made a decision about the end your relationship. You have to decide whether you wish to separate and remain married or whether to be divorced. Your spouse may or may not be in favour of the end of your relationship, but since one of you does not wish to be part of that relationship then the end is inevitable. It is for that reason that almost all separations that turn into divorces are not defended by the respondent. |
