If you or your spouse are eligible for public funding then you must assume that all public funding made available to either of you is a loan rather than a grant. It is the expectation of the Legal Services Commission that you will repay that loan at some stage in the future’ and they will take a charge on your property to secure it. While it is unpaid then it attracts interest at the rate of 8%. |
