Civil Litigation
Robin Heslop
After graduating from the London School of Economics, Robin Heslop started his practical training under Hugh Skemp (one of the three original partners in the firm). He qualified in 1969 and was made an equity partner in the firm two years later. He was the Head of Civil Litigation, and Senior Partner of the Practice until 2010.

Robin Heslop has specialised in Civil Litigation for most of his career. That specialism covers a wide rage, including Commercial disputes, Personal Injury and Professional Negligence, Construction, Intellectual Property, and Contentious Probate.

He considers it an essential part of his work to advise private and business clients on potentially contentious issues and problems – with a view to resolving them well before litigation threatens.

Robin Heslop was Senior and Managing Partner of the Practice from 2001 to 2010, during which time the Firm more than doubled in size. He remains with the Practice as a Consultant, retaining his links with existing Clients – and still welcoming new ones.
